Carl Douglas (born 1942) is a Jamaican-born singer, most famous for his song "Kung Fu Fighting", which hit number one on both the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart in 1974. "Kung Fu Fighting" is acclaimed to be one of the greatest disco tracks of all time. The fame of this homage to martial arts films has overshadowed the rest of the singer's career, resulting in his appearance on cover versions of the song. Douglas did release two other singles ("Dance The Kung Fu" and "Blue Eyed Soul") but he has gone down in recording history as a classic example of a "one hit wonder." 1 Kung Fu Fighting 2 When You Got Love 3 I Want to Give You My Everything 4 Run Back 5 I Don't Care What People Say 6 Never Had This Dream Before 7 Love, Peace and Happiness 8 Too Hot to Handle 9 Witchfinder General 10 Girl, You're So Fine 11 Changing Times 12 Mistakes of Mine 13 Green Tangerines and Wild Evergreens 14 Dance the Kung Fu
