The Bar-Kays_Nightcruising_1981

The Bar-Kays are a popular soul, R&B, and funk group who began performing in 1966 and continue to perform today, although with only one original member. The group had dozens of charting singles from the 1960s to the 1980s, including "Soul Finger" (U.S. Billboard Hot 100 #17, R&B #3) in 1967, and "Son of Shaft" (R&B #10) in 1972.

Shakatak Night Birds 1982

Shakatak are a British jazz-funk band,founded in 1980.
Night Birds, released in 1982 on the Polydor label, is the second album by Shakatak. ‘Night Birds’ established Shakatak’s trademark jazz-funk sound, and contains two of the band’s biggest hits, Easier Said than Done and Night Birds, the former reaching the No.12 spot in 1981, the latter climbing to No.9 in the following year.

Aphrodites Child It's Five O'clock 1970

Aphrodite's Child were a greek rock band, active in the late sixties.
Their 45 rpm discs, containing masterpieces often underestimated and now become classics in the history of rock music, comparable to the level of the compositions and arrangements of some of the greatest of that period.
The formula for success was almost church-especially in the Hammond organ sounds of Vangelis, Roussos and voice, interesting for the use of falsetto, one of pop's most fascinating views of the period.

Orlando Riva Sound_Body To Body_1978

Orlando Riva Sound (commonly abbreviated as O.R.S.) was a German eurodisco group founded in 1977 by Anthony Monn and Rainer Pietsch.Their first success was in 1977 with the song "Moon Boots", a mostly instrumental piece. Soon after the group's founding, they added Sophia Reaney as a singer/dancer. The following year, they released "Body to Body Boogie", which was more downtempo compared to "Moon Boots". The song also spawned the album of the same name with the following songs: "Disco Mussorgsky," "Sweet Release" and "Dream Machine", plus the 12" version of "Moon Boots".
